Workshops

THE INSTRUCTOR

Pamela is self-taught in the art of jewellery making. She has spent over ten years exploring and experimenting with countless materials and techniques. As a student, she was employed as an instructor and jewellery specialist at a popular bead supply store in downtown Toronto. In later years she taught several courses at the Centre for Creative Arts in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Now having relocated back to the Kingston area, she is offering one-on-one and small group workshops in her own home and select locations within the city limits.

ABOUT OUR COURSES

All workshops are two (2) hours long and designed for beginners or those who have only briefly dappled in this fun and ever-changing hobby. In the first hour of this course, students will learn a wide variety of techniques and the tools required to make a great assortment of unique costume jewellery. The second hour is open time to work on their own necklace and earring set with one on one instruction and guidance. Students will receive great tips of the trade, with the freedom to ask questions and be inspired – all without “product pushing”!

HOW TO REGISTER

Students may register online or via email. Four (4) students are accepted for each class for a more intimate learning environment with more time for one on one assistance.

JEWELLERY MAKING PARTY

Jewellery making parties are a great excuse to get together with friends and family. You can enjoy socializing while learning to create unique jewellery in a relaxed setting! Our classes are geared towards beginners so no experience is necessary. Jewellery Making Parties are much like our regular workshops in format but require 3 hours of time instead of our regular 2 hour sessions simply due to the amount of guests. If more than 4 guests will be in attendance classes must book 3 hours, if a maximum of 4 guests attend only 2 hours will be required.
